As a unique tomb form, the stone relief tomb of the Han Dynasty have distinct characteristics of the times.Their themes are diverse, and there are slight differences in themes between different regions. The Han Dynasty is also a period when China's political and economic forms tended to be stable,so there are many images of social production in the stone portraits.By reviewing the previous studies on stone relief, there are few studies on social production images. At present, there are more studies on cattle farming, but most of them analyze the characteristics of production tools.Other studies of images such as fishing and handicraft industry are only a few,and generally fail to link the whole system of social production. Therefore, this paper chooses this theme to analyze the related problems of social production images in stone portraits as a whole. This paper divides the social production images in the stone relief into three categories:agriculture and animal husbandry, fishing and hunting, and handicraft industry. It analyses the development and characteristics of social production in Han Dynasty from three aspects.Agricultural images mainly analyze the development and popularization of cattle farming, crop cultivation and the main food methods from three aspects:tillage map, field management and food processing.Through grazing maps,we can get a general understanding of the development of animal husbandry at that time,as well as the utilization of feces by field management in agricultural production at that time.In this paper, the methods and characteristics of hunting and fishing are analyzed respectively, and the properties of these images are discussed emphatically.Especially the existence of riding and shooting maps and manor fishing maps can help to analyze the class of the tomb owners. As for the handicraft image,it is mainly analyzed from three aspects:textile, iron smelting and wine making. The number of these three types of images is even limited, but through the scale and distribution area,it is not difficult to find that the emergence of such images has a certain relationship with the social policy at that time and the identity of the grave owner. After analyzing the characteristics of the three types of images, the reasons for the occurrence of these images are analyzed from the aspects of geographical environment, social policy and stone-framed portrait sets. Finally,by discussing some topics and scale of social production, and combining the situation of land annexation in the Han Dynasty, the relationship between the development of manor economy in the Han Dynasty and the stratum behind the portrait grave owners is analyzed. After comprehensive analysis,it is concluded that the image distribution area of social production is related to the natural and social environment, and there are obvious individualities between regions. In addition, some social production images do not have universal social existence, but have obvious stratum characteristics,so the frequency and number of them do not occupy an advantage, which is also the focus of this paper.
