Flipped Classroom,as a new teaching mode,has become widly popular in recent years.Many scholars are studying how to combine the Flipped Classroom with various disciplines to promote the education reform.Therefore,this thesis applies the Flipped Classroom in junior high school English reading teaching to answer the following questions: How to apply the Flipped Classroom into junior high school English reading teaching? What are the effects of Flipped Classroom applied into junior high school English reading teaching? And what inspiration does it have for the future teaching reform?In the 20-week teaching practice,the author took Class 13 of Grade 7 in Baoji Gaoxin Middle School as the research objects and carried out this research,aiming to improve students' reading attitude,enhance their autonomous learning ability and enrich the teaching methods of English reading in junior high schools.Firstly,the author investigated the current situation of English teaching in Baoji Gaoxin Middle School in early September,and found that the school does not use the Flipped Classroom teaching mode in English teaching.The experimental objects of this paper are seventh graders.The author teached students with traditional teaching method for two months in the first half of the internship,and conducted a pre-questionnaire survey after the mid-term examination.In the second half of the semester,the author established the basic steps of the implementation of the Flipped Classroom,combined with the current situation of English teaching and the theoretical basis of the Flipped Classroom,and designed the teaching cases.These teaching cases are applied into teaching practice.Teachers should make good teaching videos and leaflets to students in advance,so that they can learn independently before class.In the process of learning,students should take notes and record difficult points to prepare for the discussion in the class.At the end of the semester,the author used the post-questionnaire to test the effects of the Flipped Classroom teaching mode applied into junior high school reading teaching.Aftercollating and analyzing the data of the pre-questionnaire and post-questionnaire,the results showed that Flipped Classroom can help students improve their reading learning status and improve their autonomous learning ability.Based on this,the author found some problems and put forward the following suggestions: Firstly,applying the Flipped Classroom teaching mode,teachers can give full play to the advantages of collective lesson preparation,and conduct a group grinding lesson once a week to discuss how to make this lesson more exciting.Secondly,in order to improve the quality of English teaching,schools can carry out more seminars on educational information technology training or modernization of education for teachers,so that teachers of all ages can keep up with the pace of modern education.Finally,teachers can share resources.This method can not only reduce the pressure of teachers,but also enrich the resources of teachers and improve the quality of teachers' lesson preparation,to promote the improvement of the quality of education in China.
