Bakhtin(1895-1975),a famous literary theorist in the Soviet Union, holds that language exists only in dialogic communication and the dialogical relations are everywhere.Dialogue is not only the essence of language, but also the essence of human's thoughts. And the new English curriculum standard emphasizes that language is both a tool for communication and a tool for thinking. Therefore,we can regard reading teaching as a kind of dialogic. The process of English reading and understanding should be the dialogue process between the students and the reading materials, between the students and the writers, between the teachers and students, and between students.Through the communication and storage of the new information, the students can achieve a true understanding of the content of reading. But the traditional reading teaching model pays attention to the teaching of knowledge, the teachers occupy most of the right to speak in class and the students passively accept knowledge. It is very difficult to achieve real reading dialogue in the reading teaching process. The flipped classroom teaching model provides the possibility for us to solve this difficult problem. In the flipped classroom model, the students learn independently and find problems through the learning resources published by the teacher before class.During the class, the teachers help the students solve the problems appeared during their learning. After class, the students finish the exercises and consolidate the knowledge they have learned. This model can fully expose and fill the information gaps between the students and the reading materials as well the teachers and students. The teachers no longer instill new information without knowing the students' existing information. The reading teaching is completed during the process of filling the information gaps.Meanwhile, the students can achieve a true understanding of the reading materials through the communication and storage of the new information.Based upon the dialogue theory, this paper is to explore the teaching practice of flipped classroom teaching model in English reading class in junior high school. This paper mainly studies the following questions through the teaching experiment, tests, questionnaires and interviews :(1).What's the current situation of English Reading Teaching in junior high school and is there a dialogic sense of the information in the English reading teaching,as far as students' acquisition is concerned?(2).How can the teacher construct and implement the flipped classroom to build the information transmission bridge in English reading in junior High School?(3).What is the effect of the flipped teaching model in English reading in junior high school?Through a semester's teaching experiment and the analysis of experimental data, the researcher found that the flipped classroom teaching model can well fill the information gaps well between the students and the reading materials as well the teachers,it increased students' right to speak in class and made students' English reading experience more enjoyable. The students' English reading performance in English test has increased and some students' feelings of rejection and fear of English reading have been alleviated. The researcher thinks that putting the flipped classroom teaching model into the English reading is a good attempt and it has practical significance.
