Design And Application Of Instructional Resources For Primary School English Based On Augmented Reality

The instructional resources for primary school English is an important element of the secondary primary school English teaching and learning,and the information technology era also requires that the multi-media instructional resources be used more in the primary school teaching,so that the content of the teaching content can be gradually diversified.Augmented reality technology has gradually emerged in the information age.As one of the important technologies affecting the development of basic education in the next five years,it can seamlessly display virtual objects to the real environment,so that we can acquire and absorb information in real time.Augmented reality technology can also help students participate in exploration,cultivate students' creativity and imagination,strengthen students' cooperation,teacher-student cooperation,create a variety of environments suitable for learning,and have incalculable development prospects in education.Based on the augmented reality of instructional resources for primary school English,this paper constructs a realistic learning situation by means of two-dimensional flat-facing three-dimensional transformation,enriches the presentation of English classroom contents in primary schools,and stimulates students' interest in English learning.It is a useful attempt in the field of education to promote the change of teaching methods in English education.This thesis focuses on the design and application of instructional resources for primary school English based on augmented reality.The main work of the thesis is as follows:1)This paper expounds the research background and significance,collects and arranges the important definitions of virtual reality,augmented reality and teaching resources,sums up the typical application of augmented reality in the field of education at present,and reviews the important events of the development of augmented reality.This paper briefly describes the key technologies of augmented reality,introduces the hardware and software resources needed to realize the augmented reality effect,and the pedagogical theoretical basis and enlightenment of the application of the augmented reality-based English instructional resources in primary schools.This paper discusses why augmented reality technology is used in English teaching resources in primary schools.2)Follow the software engineering method to design and develop case studies of augmented reality instructional resources for primary school English.Firstly,the general method model that the resource development needs to follow is designed.The basic development process of the model is discussed,especially the requirements analysis,structure design and how to set up the development environment.Secondly,based on the course unit development process in the model,the third element of the third-grade English PEP textbook "At the zoo" is selected,and the case development is carried out by using tools such as Unity 3D and Vuforia AR SDK,and the design ideas of the case are explained.The development process of the three modules in the case is described in detail.This paper discusses how to do augmented reality instructional resources for primary school English.3)The case "At the zoo" of augmented reality instructional resources for primary school English is applied to the practical teaching process.The detailed case teaching design is given.The independent sample T test is performed by SPSS for the students' test results.The statistical analysis of the distribution of the number of students is carried out by using the chart.Through interviews with students and teachers,we can further understand the feedback of the teaching resources in the classroom teaching practice.The application value of augmented reality instructional resources for primary school English is discussed.
