A Study On The Film Adaptation Of Su Tong's Novels

The film adaptation of the novel is an important phenomenon in the spread of contemporary social culture.With the advancement of modern science and technology and the change in economic structure,the visual culture represented by the film has become the dominant culture of the current era,and relatively elegant and pure literature has gradually been neglected.Since the 1990s,the directors have jumped out of the narrow sense of the film circle and began to absorb nutrients from literature.However,literary works also received attention after the adaptation of the film.This phenomenon deserves the attention of researchers.Judging from the current adaptation of Su Tong's novels,the film works adapted from his novels are prominent both in the number of avant-garde writers and even in contemporary writers.For this uncommon phenomenon,through careful reading of his novels,the author finds that there is a clear isomorphism between Su Tong's novel and film art.In other words,Su Tong's novel has distinctive cinematographic features.The author believes that this is also an important prerequisite for his novels to be frequently visualized and reorganized.In spite of this,novels and movies are two different kinds of media that use different media and have two different ways of seeing.Therefore,in the process of adaptation of the latter,the former must be accompanied by many changes.This article analyzes the phenomenon of the adaptation of contemporary author Su Tong's novel,and uses the differences in the two narrative methods of film and novel as the entry point to interpret the resulting differences.In this paper,Su Tong was adapted to the five novels of the film and its adapted films.He first studied the text of Su Tong's novels,combined with the adaptations,and from the perspective of communication,in turn,the communicators,the subjects of communication,The dissertation discusses the spread of the environment and other aspects,explains the preconditions for the adaptation of Su Tong's novels,and the movie features of Su Tong's novels.Secondly,from the analysis of individual cases,we can see the difference between novels and films.This article will use five cases of movie adaptation as analysis models.Specifically,we will focus on the analysis of the two aspects of story reconstruction,character reconstruction,and narrative differences.The process of mass media conversion explains the changes that have taken place in the process of "translation," of the narrative of the novel to the movie narrative,thereby reversely constructing the process of adaptation of the novel to the film.Finally,this article starts from the film ontology and uses seven movie films adapted from Su Tong's novels as objects,and cuts into the various visual and audio styles of different styles from smooth and orderly image grammar and colorful image rhetoric.Analysis of language.Therefore,Su Tong's novel and its adapted films are analyzed in a more comprehensive way,which provides a reference for studying the adaptation of contemporary novels' films,and shows the complex relationship and significance between novel texts and film adaptations.
