Study On The Development Of Jilin Region In The Late Qing Dynasty And Early Republic Of China

In order to save the ruling crisis,the Qing government promulgated a new policy in 1901.Northeast China,the frontier of the Qing Dynasty,is facing a huge frontier crisis.With the implementation of the New Deal,the educational reform policy of "enlightening people's wisdom" and "promoting new learning" has been actively carried out.Under the guidance of this policy,Jilin Province has also actively responded to it and set off a boom in promoting learning in Jilin.Based on the background of education reform in Jilin area in the late Qing Dynasty,this paper takes Yuwen Middle School as an example to discuss,thus revealing the important value of Yuwen Middle School in Jilin area and the significance of Jilin area.This article mainly discusses from five aspects.The first part is the introduction.This paper mainly elaborates the background and significance of the topic selection,summarizes the previous research results,and also clarifies the research objectives of this paper.The second part mainly elaborates the trend of booming schools and the development of Jilin education in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China.The third part is about the establishment and development of Yuwen Middle School.This paper introduces the basic situation of Yuwen Middle School's enrollment,curriculum,funds and characteristic teaching system.The fourth part elaborates Yuwen middle school's management constitution and teacher's living condition.The school manages its own functions,students manage independently and self-control,teachers and students also set up advanced thought journals,participate in social activities and other ways to actively participate in the Jilin Revolution.The fifth part is evaluation.After abolishing the imperial examination system and preparing for constitutionalism in the late Qing Dynasty,the education in Jilin began to modernize.The establishment of Yuwen Middle School is the key to the reform of modern education in Jilin.This paper expounds the important value of Yuwen Middle School in Jilin's school development in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China,and evaluates it from the progressive significance and limitations of Jilin's school development.At the end of the Qing Dynasty and the beginning of the Republic of China,the development of Jilin's education promoted the modernization of Jilin's education.
