Research On The Basic Education In Jilin Area Under The Background Of The New Deal In The Late Qing Dynasty

In this paper,the small school,middle school in Jilin in the late Qing Dynasty according to the modern education system are taken as the research object under the background of the new deal reform.The original development of basic education from nonexistence to pass into existence is restored,and the promotion of education popularization in Jilin by educational institutions at different levels from nation to province and county is discussed,with evaluation of basic education development in Jilin.This study consists of five sections.The section ? is the introduction of the historical background of the new deal,the changes in the new deal before and after the reform of education,and the establishment and development of the basic education in Jilin in education reform.Section ? introduces the establishment of educational administrative institutions at all levels in Jilin,the establishment of internal organs,the composition of personnel and their respective functions.The contents of primary and secondary education are introduced respectively in section ? and ?,including students' status,curriculum,teaching methods and teaching expectation.As the concluding remarks,section ? makes some comparisons of the development of basic education with other provinces,and with education policy before and after the new deal,and with the educational tendency in Jilin after the Russo Japanese War,comparing advantages and disadvantages,analyzing gains and losses.
