Jing Hengyi was a famous educator in modern China.The academic research on the educational thoughts of Jing Hengyi was mainly focused on one aspect of his educational thoughts or his educational practice activities,and the systematic research results are few.The educational activities in the early period of Jing Hengyi were mainly concentrated in the 18 th year of 1908-1926,so this paper studied the main content of his educational thought during this period.He born in a family that values education,so he has the opportunity to receive a good education.In adulthood,he witnessed the national crisis and the educational status.Like many intellectuals who attempted to save the country,he tried to change the social situation at that time through educational reform.And most of their educational practice is implemented on the basis of the school,and finally through a series of reform measures to achieve.The educational thoughts of Jing Hengyi also have their unique historical imprints.His thoughts are not isolated,but also the result of the combination of multiple factors such as their own factors and the social situation at the time and advanced foreign education.His educational philosophy is first of all that the educational objectives must meet the requirements of the times.The wheel of historical progress will not stop.Only by keeping pace with the times and advancing with the times can we achieve long-term development.The development of education is not only the enrichment and improvement of the theory of education itself,but also the continuous improvement and innovation of teachers' ability and student training.In this way,the combination of theory and practice can truly achieve education that is beneficial to the country and the people.In the context of the society's pursuit of educational independence at that time,he also combined the actual situation of his own education,pursued the independence of education funds,the purity of the educational spirit,and the autonomy of running schools.Under the guidance of this kind of thinking,he founded Chunhui Middle School,which is famous in China,and received support from a large number of teachers and cultural knowledge education,but a comprehensive education,including improving cultural quality,developing moral personality and exercising health.In the management of the school,he pays attention to the study of advanced foreign education theories,implements reforms in school training,teacher-only,student autonomy,etc.,and also focuses on improving the basic education facilities of the school.He created a school atmosphere of democracy and freedom,which enabled both teachers and students to develop and improve,and also established the status of the school and its own in the field of education.In combination with the actual situation of education at that time and his own learning,he also adopted a series of teaching reform measures such as reforming Chinese education,changing the academic year system to the discipline system,and compiling the grades according to his abilities.Through these reforms,the school has attracted a large number of famous scholars and have also trained many outstanding students.Although they choose different paths,they have made great achievements in their own fields.The educational thoughts of Jing Hengyi have limitations in that special times.However,during his educational career,he also formed many excellent educational ideas and implemented them through educational practice.His educational thoughts not only played an important role at that time,but also had a certain impact on our current educational reforms.
