With the economic development since China's reform and opening up,a large number of rural population migrate to cities, and the trend of "family-oriented" migration gradually strengthens,so there are a large number of "migrant children" who follow their parents to move to the cities. The process of their adaptation and integration has been widely concerned. However, many migrant children are confronted with many difficulties and psychological deviations after entering the city from their hometown. The research on the influence factors of problem behaviors is not only beneficial to improve their living environment, but also of great significance to social stability. But,most of the previous studies on problem behaviors focus on negative factors.Starting from the perspective of positive psychology and under the background of Fredrickson's broaden-build theory, this study explores the interaction between life satisfaction and problem behavior through longitudinal research. In this study, the junior high school students in four public middle schools in Shanghai were surveyed by the youth self-rating scale and the life satisfaction scale, and the follow-up retest was conducted in the first and second year of junior high school.Finally,452 valid questionnaires were obtained. This study uses repeated measurement analysis of variance, independent sample t-test and Pearson correlation analysis to investigate the development trend and difference of life satisfaction and problem behavior between urban children and migrant children, and then the cross-lag model was established to examine the interaction between life satisfaction and problem behavior. The conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)There was no significant difference in the life satisfaction between the migrant children and the urban children in the three-year follow-up.The life satisfaction of the migrant children showed an overall upward trend, while the life satisfaction of the urban children showed an overall downward trend.(2)There is a significant difference between migrant childrenand urban children in the externalized problem behavior, which is manifested as the externalized problem behavior of migrant children is significantly higher than that of urban children, and there is no significant difference between them in the internalized problem behavior. The internalizing and externalizing problem behaviors of both groups showed a downward trend.(3)In migrant children group, the life satisfaction and internalizing problem behaviors have bi-directional relations.Theinternalized problem behaviors at time 1 could negatively predict the life satisfaction at time 2,and the life satisfaction at time 1 could negatively predict the internalized problem behaviors at time 2.While their life satisfaction and externalizing problem behaviors don't have bi-directional relations; In urban children group, the life satisfaction and internalizing problem behaviors also have bi-directional relations, life satisfaction at time 1 negatively predicted internalized problem behaviors at time 2,and internalized problem behaviors at time 2 negatively predicted life satisfaction at time 3.Their life satisfaction and externalizing problem behaviors have unidirectional prediction effect, which showed that externalized problem at time 2 negatively predicted life satisfaction at time 3.This study revealed the survival status of migrant children, and provided empirical support for the exploration of the relationship between life satisfaction and problem behavior,so as to help migrant children better integrate into the new environment and promote their psychological development.
