Migrant children's sound development of body and mind is a common concern of the government and academia in China in recent years. The mental health of migrant children is not good,pessimism, depression, low self-esteem and other psychological problems seriously affect their growth and development and school adjustment, life satisfaction is not high. With the development of positive psychology, school mental health education pays more attention to the cultivation of students' positive psychological quality. Optimism is a relatively stable and persistent personality variables, optimistic individual has a positive attitude to the reality and the future. Self-esteem is the degree to which individuals evaluate themselves and their sense of importance and value. Existing research shows that optimism and self-esteem are highly related, and the two can significantly predict life satisfaction. As an interesting way of consulting, sandplay are widely used in school psychological consultation. It can build a free and protected space for students, make them have mental growth in easy and safe atmosphere. This study aims to explore the relationship among optimism, life satisfaction and self-esteem of migrant children in middle school, and uses group sandplay to intervene positive psychological quality of optimism, in order to improve the level of migrant children in middle school's optimism, thus improve their level of self-esteem and life satisfaction.The study is divided into two parts:part one is a questionnaire survey, "adolescent optimism questionnaire", "adolescent life satisfaction scale"and "self-esteem scale" are used for investigating 422 migrant children and 427 non-migrant children in middle school, discusses the differences of optimism, life satisfaction and self-esteem of migrant children and non-migrant children in middle school; Discusses the differences of migrant children in middle school's optimism, life satisfaction and self-esteem in the demographic variables; Discusses the relationship among migrant children in middle school's optimism, life satisfaction and self-esteem, and the mediating effect of self-esteem in the process of optimism influences migrant children in middle school's life satisfaction. Part two is a self-esteem group sandplay intervention experiment, selects 10 migrant children in Guilin fourth middle school as subjects, randomly divide them into an experimental group and a control group, the experimental group receives a eight-time group sandplay intervention, control group without any processing, and through before and after result to evaluate intervention effect.Through the study, we get the following conclusions:(1)Migrant children in middle school's optimism, life satisfaction is significantly lower than non-migrant children, there is no significant difference in self-esteem between migrant children in middle school and non-migrant children in middle school.(2)For optimism of migrant children in middle school, there are significant differences in school type, grade, whether as a student cadre and academic record, there are no significant differences in gender and whether as a only child.(3)For life satisfaction of migrant children in middle school, there are significant differences in grade, whether as a only child, whether as a student cadre and academic record, there are no significant differences in school type and gender.(4)For self-esteem of migrant children in middle school, there are significant differences in grade, whether as a student cadre and academic record, there are no significant differences in school type, gender, whether as a only child.(5)Migrant children in middle school's optimism, life satisfaction and self-esteem have positive correlation significantly with each other.(6)Self-esteem has partial mediator effect in the process of optimism influences migrant children in middle school's life satisfaction.(7)Group sandplay intervention has significant effect to improve the level of migrant children in middle school's self-esteem, at the same time, improving their level of life satisfaction.
