Research And Application Of Children's Picture Book Design

The picture book originated in the West,and it was slowly introduced to China in the last century,replacing the Chinese book of small people.It has become an important reading for children.With the development of society,people pay more and more attention to the early education of children.In this case,the picture book,as an early reading material for children,has gradually received the attention of parents.In this context,the author decided to use the design and application of children's picture books as the research direction.This paper first defines the concept of picture book,and thinks that picture book is a narrative way of illustration and text.The classification of picture books,namely adult picture books and children's picture books,was discussed.It analyzes the problems existing in the development of China's picture book design industry and lays a foundation for the creation of the fifth part of the picture book.Then it analyzes the visual elements and narrative elements of the picture book in detail,and provides a theoretical basis for the creation of the picture book.Then,the factors affecting children's picture book creation are analyzed.The influencing factors mainly include the readers of children's picture books,the psychological characteristics of children's picture books,and the aesthetic characteristics of children's picture books.In the analysis of children's psychological characteristics,the author starts with children's paintings to analyze the children's works in different moods.These children's works are from the first-hand information obtained by the author during the children's studio inspection.The fifth part of the article is the practice of picture book creation based on the theory of the first four parts.The character creation design,story design,layout design,color design and logical structure design of the picture book are analyzed.Through the research in this paper,the author finds that the creation of children's picture books has high requirements for designers,and it needs to satisfy the aesthetics of children.It is also necessary for children to be able to resonate psychologically while reading,to be inspired by their thoughts,and to be emotionally comforted.The former is very easy for a qualified art student,but to make the work really enter the children's heart,it is necessary for the author of the picture book to really enter the children's life and understand the children's ideas.In order to design a qualified picture book,the author conducted a long-term social survey and contacted a large number of children.I hope that the works and papers of this topic can make a small contribution to the theory and practice of children's picture book design.
