This paper has a investigation and study of Chinese dialect of Maoxian,based on field survey.Form three aspects of sound and tone,we have a analysis of phonetic systems adout the three dialects in Maoxian,which are called Fengyi town,Guangming town and Qugu town,and make a systematic angiysis of local dialects by means of experimental phonetics,dialectology,phonology,and historical linguistics.In the survey,we found that Fengyi town and Guangming town hold the Ru tone independently,belonging to minjiang dialect pieces of the Southwestern mandarin in sichuan province.But Qugu township,the Ru tone returned to YangPing,more features of cheng-yu dialect.Fengyi town,Guangming town and Gugu town all distinguish flat warped tongue,but the specific distribution is quite different,among which the distribution of flat warped tongue in Qugu town and Fengyi town is more regular.The gujing group(???)mostly reads flat tongue,and the guzhang group(???)reads flat tongue,and the zhizhang component is flat warped tongue,of which the flat tongue mainly comes from guzhier group(??)and guzhuang group(???).Guangming town is known to read more the word for flat tongue.This paper is divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction,explaining the origin and significance of the study,sorting out the relevant research status and briefly introducing the specific investigation.The second part introduces related general situation about Maoxian.In the third part,the detailed description of three local dialects in Maoxian is given.The fourth part is to take Fengyi town of Maoxian as the representative dialect point and the ancient Chinese sound as the contrast analysis to conclude its sound characteristics.The fifth part compares the Chinese dialect of Maoxian with minjiang dialect and renfu dialect.The sixth part is the conclusion.
