The Research Of Phonetic System About Bazhong In Sichuan Province

In this study, we made some field investigation and record about the phonetic of Bazhong. It mainly used the emerging fieldwork software of 21 Century. It arranged and analyzed the phonetic system of the four dialects of Bazhong with the research methods about historical linguistic, phonology, experimental phonetic and the dialectology.The features of the phonetic system of Bazhong mainly are“independent tone of Ru-Sheng”, “distinguish Jianyin and Tuanyin”, and “distinguish Jing Groups and Zhi Groups”. Dialects of Nanjiang, Tongjiang and Bazhou reserved plenty of words with tone of Ru-Sheng. The others classified as the tone of Yang-Ping. The whole words of tone of Ru-Sheng in Pingchang almost classified as the Yang-Ping tone. The phonetic of all the four dialects distinguish Jianyin and Tuanyin, Jing Groups and Zhi Groups. Jianyin and Tuanyin are changing and have the trend to the palatal voice. The feature of distinguish Jing Groups and Zhi Groups is similar to the Zigong and Xichang dialects in Sichuan Province.But it is different from the Beijing dialect. With the comparison of phonetic of Bazhong and“Nanlu Dialect”, “Huguang Dialect”, we find out that phonetic of Bazhong is a different dialect from “Huguang Dialect” with some features in early period of“Nanlu Dialect”. It is the effect of the developing of the native Dialects before the “Huguang Dialect” being brought into Sichuan. It has been affected by the “Huguang Dialect”and“Beijing Dialect” and so on to be the status now.The phonetic system of Bazhong is similar to it in the Shuyu and it is belong to the old “Nanlu Dialect”. Beside the area in the west and south of Minjiang River, the“Nanlu Dialect” includes the Bazhong of the north and east of Sichuan Province. It also confirmed the idea that “Nanlu Dialect” spread all over the Sichuan Province before the “Huguang Dialect” arrived Sichuan.There are 6 parts in this essay. The first one is about the introduction which analyzes the background and the past research. Some are about the situation of dialects and implement. The second part arranges and analyzes the phonetic system and phonology features of Bazhong dialect in detail. The third part is about the comparison of the phonetic features of the four dialects in Bazhong. The forth part is about the comparison between phonetic features of Bazhong and the Sichuan dialect investigation report in the past century. The fifth part is about the comparison between phonetic features of Bazhong and the“Nanlu Dialect”and “Huguang Dialect”. The last part is the conclusion.
