| Yun Yun Hua Yi is a phonology book written by Yang Zhiti in the late Qing Dynasty,reflecting the Sichuan dialect.Its purpose is to standardize the pronunciation at that time.The author of this book has fine-tuned pronunciation and has certain characteristics in compiling.At present,the academic circles are not paying enough attention,and the relevant research is insufficient.It is necessary to do further research on this book.This paper comprehensively analyzes the book from two aspects of literature and language,using internal analysis method,literature research method,historical comparison method and other research methods.On the basis of examining its sound,rhyme and tone system,compared with the phonetic system of the modern Minjiang Dialect.While clarifying the law of its language development and evolution,it also established the phonetic foundation of Yun Yun Hua Yi.It is of great significance and value to understand the phonetic status and phonetic evolution law of Minjiang Dialect in the late Qing Dynasty.This dissertation is divided into six parts:Introduction.This chapter introduces and explains from four aspects: source of topic selection,research status,research ideas and methods,research purpose and significance.The first chapter is the compilation of Yun Yun Hua Yi.This chapter firstly introduces and analyzes the author,writing time,edition,style and terminology of Yun Yun Hua Yi in detail.On this basis,clarify the author’s motivation for writing the book,at the same time,it deeply discusses the phonological thought reflected in the compilation of the book.Mainly:Phonetic Evolution,Yin Yang Wu Xing,Zhong Yin Qing Zi,Sheng Jie He Mu.The second chapter is the initial consonant system of Yun Yun Hua Yi.After an introduction to the book’s initial system,this chapter analyze the source of each group of initials,and combined with the modern Sichuan dialect,constructed the initial system of Yun Yun Hua Yi.On this basis,discuss the characteristics of the initials of Yun Yun Hua Yi,It is mainly reflected in: turbid initial consonants become voiceless sounds,zero initial expansion and so on.In addition,from the complementary and opposite relationship of the consonant initials,the problem of Sheng Jie He Mu in Yun Yun Hua Yi is discussed.The third chapter is the rhyme system of Yun Yun Hua Yi.First,introduce the general situation of the rhyme system of the book,then discuss the evolution of each group of rhymes from the Middle Ages to Yin Yun Hua Yi,construct the sound value of the final vowel.On this basis,summarize the characteristics of rhyme,which are mainly reflected in:The closed rhyme disappears,part of the [-η] tail merges with the [-n] tail,and the two rhymes of Ge(歌)and Ge(戈)are indistinguishable.The fourth chapter is the tone system of Yun Yun Hua Yi.This chapter discusses the general situation of the tone system and the characteristics of tone.There are five tonal systems in Yun Yun Hua Yi,and its tonal characteristics are reflected in three aspects: The level tone is divided into level tone and rising tone,Partially voiced upper-voiced characters changed to voiceless,keep entering-tone.The fifth chapter is the research on the phonetic foundation of Yun Yun Hua Yi.First,confirm the relationship between the phonetic system of the book and Minjiang Dialect,and then compare the phonetic systems of Yun Yun Hua Yi,Shehong dialect and Naxi dialect from three aspects: initials,rhyme,and tones.Summarizing the similarities and differences between the three,it is concluded that the phonetic basis of the book should be Shehong dialect. |
