A Report On The Translation Of The Interim Measures For The Administration Of Online Car-hailing Services In Baoding

With the development of translation studies,legal translation has developed from the simple literal translation of words and sentences to the strict application of various translation theories.At present,Skopos Theory and functional equivalence theory are widely used in the translation of legal texts.In view of the limitations of functional equivalence theory,Skopos Theory is used as a theoretical guide in this translation and examplesare given to illustrate the practical guiding role of Skopos Theory in Chinese-English legal translation.This paper gives a brief overview of the translation process,including the main tasks before,during and after translation.Besides,this thesis reviews Skopos Theorie and its guiding principles.This chapter focuses on the optional translation strategies of legal texts under the guidance of Skopos Theorie.Based on the three principles of Skopos Theorie and text types,the author adopts corresponding translation strategies to solve practical problems in translation.The three principles of Skopos Theorie provide practical theoretical guidance for solving linguistic problems in Chinese-English legal translation.It focuses on the applicability of specific techniques in Chinese-English legal translation under the guidance of Skopos Theorie with examples.On this basis,it concludes that domestic legal translation can proceed smoothly under the guidance of SkoposTheorie and convey the intention of the original text to the greatest extent.
