The Textual Research Of Wang Weiyan And His Writing

Wang Weiyan has a lot of works in his life,but he is little known for other reasons such as his unsatisfactory career.This paper reviews Wang Weiyan's related works,local chronicles and other literature materials and makes a brief study of his life.We know that Wang Weiyan was born in the early years of Tongzhi,and he is a native of Jinan Licheng.His style name is Haiqiu(also known as Nianru),hao Mengzhai.Wang Weiyan was mainly active from the early years of Guangxu to the early Republic China.When Wang Weiyan was a child,he went to Dengzhou with his father(now Penglai City,Shandong Province)and was familiar with the situation in Dengzhou.From his writings,it can be seen that Wang Weiyan likes to travel and has a wide range of personal knowledge.In Wang Weiyan's travel notes,it can be seen that his travel range is vitally wide.In his writings,it included a large number of works donated to his friends,many of which were accompanied by postscript of his works written by his friends,indicating that he had frequent academic communication with his friends.Wang Weiyan also participated in the compilation of Shandong Tongzhi in the Republic of China and the Licheng County Annals.Through our search,we can confirm that there are six kinds of works written by Wang Weiyan,which are respectively Yuyinglouxiefangji,Dialect Interpretation,Xiaxiaozhengjiansh,MaoShishuzhengbulu,Lushuguangzheng,MaoShimingwuzhuang,all of which are manuscripts,are now in the Shandong Provincial Library.Photocopies of these manuscripts are included in Shandong Literature Integration(the first album,the second album,2011,Shandong University Press).Yuyinglouxiefangji is a collection of poems by Wang Weiyan.It should be without a set of copy,so the font is illegible and quite difficult to identify.This article mainly uses this book to examine the life of the characters,and does not specifically discuss the characteristics and values of the literary works.In addition to the collection of Yuyinglouxiefangji,the other five works are all exegesis works.Through the analysis of these five works,we can know that their style of interpretation is consistent,with distinctive characteristics and many desirable methods.Wang Weiyan is good at collecting a wide range of cited documents and materials as examples in his interpretation,and pay attention to the differences of different documents,according to the fact to get the final determination.Wang influenced by scholars of Qianjia school such as Dai Zhen and Wang Niansun,Wang Weiyan was good at analyzing the meaning of words through sound clues,and the exegetical method of "seeking meaning by sound" was implemented in his interpretation.The interpretation focuses on multi-interpretation,and often takes Shandong dialect of the Qing Dynasty as the evidence of the interpretation,especially Jinan and Dengzhou dialects,which are the most common,providing dialect phonetic materials,showing the outline of Shandong dialect of the Qing Dynasty.
