The rapid development of information technology and the popularity of the Internet have brought about tremendous changes in our work and learning style.In this huge transformation,education must serve as a pioneer and conforms to the development of the times.As English teaching is cross-cultural and interactive,it is more closely related to network than other subjects.Although network resources have been widely used in English teaching,many problems still stand out in the use of network resources when it comes to high school English teaching.For example,many English teachers do not pay enough attention to the use of network resources,and these valuable resources are even misused by some teachers.Therefore,this study mainly focuses on the use of network resources in high school English teaching,in order to find the problems and come up with some effective strategies.Based on the previous related researches,taking the “cone of experience” of Edgar Dale and “Blended learning Theory” as theoretical basis,this study adopts the requirements in the English Curriculum Standards(2017)as references,combines the actual situation of how students and teachers using network resources,and uses the questionnaires to investigate 150 high school students in Changzhi No.7 Middle School,in order to understand the general situation of teachers using online resources in teaching from the perspective of students,then observes 5 classes of different lesson types,as a way to get the specific methods about how to use online resources in teaching.Finally,the writer interviewed five English teachers to understand the teachers' attitude and strategies of network resources using.The survey results show that the current situation of network resources using in English teaching is generally optimistic.For example,students and teachers have a very positive attitude towards the use of network resources in English learning and teaching,and they also have made many attempts,as a result,network resources are frequently used by most English teachers on the process of teaching and students also like this kind of teaching method.However,there are still many problems that need to be solved now.For example,the school lacks of multimedia facilities and resource sharing platform,in the aspect of the views of internet resources,there are two extreme conditions,on the one hand,some English teacherscannot break away from the traditional teaching mode,so they refuse to use the network resources in English teaching,while on the other hand some teachers abuse network resources,lacking awareness of using network resources in English teaching,and using single resource types.In response to the above problems,the writer carefully analyzes the reasons,then puts forward some effective solutions,such as establishing a network resource sharing platform,conducting teacher training of using network resources,improving students' resource awareness,and in the end of the passage,the writer gave some related websites and applications to get online teaching resources.Finally the writer hopes this article can provide some suggestions and reference for the use of network resources in English teaching.
