With the rapid development of society,people of all ethnic groups have increasingly close communication with each other.As the common language of the country,putonghua builds a bridge between the hearts of people of all ethnic groups.It has demonstrated its irreplaceable importance in maintaining social stability and long-term stability.For a long time,with the help and strong support of the party and the state,people of all ethnic groups in xinjiang have significantly improved their standard of mandarin,this is not only the result of the joint efforts of everyone,but also a reflection of “five identities”.The preparatory students are a special group with relatively high education level among ethnic minorities,if we can help them to learn and use mandarin well,which is of great significance to them personally and even to the whole society.In this paper,there are 293 preparatory students of Yili Normal University were randomly selected as samples,and their mandarin learning and use status were investigated through questionnaire survey and in-depth interview.Through screening the data,some problems existing in the learning and using process of putonghua for preparatory college students in Xinjiang were found.There are six parts in this paper:Part one,elaborates the research background and significance of this paper,sorts out the relevant research results of predecessors,and describes the main research methods of this paper.Part two,gives a brief introduction of the reasons and design ideas for the site selection in this survey from the aspects of questionnaire design background,questionnaire main content and sample distribution(gender,ethnicity,family location,urban and rural distribution,etc.).Part three,from the motivation of mandarin learning,the expectation of mandarin learning,the main way of mandarin learning,mandarin learning major difficulties,mandarin learning in the process of time and money,and the usage of putonghua in different occasions,through those part to investigate the learning and use of mandarin among preparatory students.Part four,based on the analysis of the current situation of the survey,this paper analyzes the main problems and causes in the learning and use of putonghua among the preparatory students.They include: fear of difficulties leads to low expectation of learning;poor awareness of resource utilization leads to diverse learning approaches;improper learning methods lead to unsatisfactory learning results;changes in living environment lead to insufficient awareness of learning investment;awareness of mandarin usage needs to be further strengthened.Part five,for colleges and universities in Xinjiang preparatory students mandarin learning and the problems existing in the use process,combining with the actual,put forward the corresponding optimization countermeasures,including: use opportunely recognition incentive strategy to eliminate preppy fear,take full advantage of rich Internet learning approaches,optimize the learning method to improve learning,guide students to improve learning investment consciousness,further enhance preppy mandarin use consciousness,actively participate in the second classroom activity,appropriate to participate in social practice activities.Part six,this part is the conclusion,which summarizes the main content and research conclusion of the whole paper,and points out the shortcomings of this paper.
