An Interdisciplinary Study On "The Era Of Reading Pictures"

With the advent of the “pictorial turn”,people showed great enthusiasm for media such as television,film and so on.While at the same time,literary works have gradually been marginalized.Some people are worried about the end of literature and it has become a real problem under the background of the changes of times.Thus,taking a large number of literary works in the seventeen-year period as an example of picturestory book,the study of the communication of the Picture-story books in a specific historical period helps us to reflect on the literary communication of the "image age" and also to contemporary literature.The communication will inspire and has certain practical significance.The article consists of three parts: Introduction,body and the conclusion.The introduction tells why this article is written,confirms the main character,sort out the important documents involved in the full text and propose the innovation.The main body of the thesis consists of four parts,from the historical background of the literature in the seventeen-year period to the picture-story books and the communication strategy,the transformation between the literary works and the heterogeneous media of the picture-story books,the establishment of the integrated creation mode and the ultimate dissemination and acceptance of the comic book.And in the conclusion part,it is concluded that the image can be a form and tool of literary presentation.The choice of media that conforms to the characteristics of the times and the expectations of the audience has a key role in the dissemination of literature in the era.The innovation of media,such as the use of images,audio and video technology,should not become a hindrance to the spread of literature and the development of literature itself,but should be combined with literature to help the literature spread better.Besides,adjust the publishing direction of literature and the content of the work at the appropriate time are also the crucial elements of the successful communication of literature.
