TBLT(Task-based Language Teaching)advocates the student-centered approach and emphasizes the cultivation of students' communicative competence.This teaching method is different from the traditional teaching method based on teachers' explanation.It adopts the form of "learning by doing" and requires teachers to design tasks close to the real life situation by combining teaching contents,guiding students to acquire Chinese while doing tasks and cultivating students' Chinese thinking.At present,this teaching method is widely used in foreign language teaching in China,the application in teaching Chinese as a foreign language is relatively few.In the practice of teaching Chinese as a foreign language,most volunteers of Chinese language teachers are limited by their conditions and can only know about their actual teaching objects and teaching environment after arriving at the teaching post.Therefore,problems such as poor classroom control and teaching effect,students' enthusiasm for learning and low level of classroom participation are likely to occur in the early stage of teaching.In order to solve the above problems,the author tried to apply the TBLT in the comprehensive Chinese class of Philippine Pasay ChungHua Academy,to improve the students' comprehensive ability of using Chinese and their enthusiasm to participate in the class.This paper consists of four chapters: chapter one is the introduction,which introduces the research status of TBLT and comprehensive course,as well as the origin,purpose and main research methods of this paper.In chapter two,relevant literature is collected to introduce the definition,theoretical basis,task type,design principle,characteristics and the stages of phased teaching mode of TBLT.The third chapter first analyzes the feasibility of TBLT application in the school,and then explains the application of TBLT in the comprehensive Chinese course ofPhilippine Pasay ChungHua Academy with six specific teaching cases,and analyzes and summarizes the six cases.The fourth chapter records the evaluation and summary of the case application effect and the students' feedback of the questionnaire survey on the application of TBLT in class.Based on the summary of task process,result and student evaluation,this paper records the positive results achieved in the task teaching mode,reflect on the problems and put forward the corresponding teaching suggestions.Finally,the conclusion summarizes the whole paper,and draws the conclusion that the application of TBLT in the comprehensive Chinese course of the school is scientific,positive,and can effectively improve students' Chinese performance and comprehensive language ability.Finally,it is expected that the research in this paper can provide valuable reference information for the industry peers.
