Research On Special Education In Anhui Province(1934-1944)

In the 1930s,the National Government carried out military"encirclement and suppression" in the revolutionary base areas led by the Communist Party of the five provinces of Jiangxi,Hubei,Anhui,Henan and Fujian.In the revolutionary base areas it captured(the so-called"recovery areas"),The implementation of special education,through the unification of people s thinking,guidance of rural autonomy,development of rural economy,improvement of rural self-defense,improvement of rural society,in order to lay the foundation for the revival of rural areas.The central institution that promoted such education in the recovery areas”was the Zhongshan People s School.The work of Zhongshan People's School not only handling school-style special education,but also implementing social-type special education.The Zhongshan People s School had actually become centre of the "recovery areas" politics and organizations of various businesses.In addition,in more remote areas,the mobility and concealment of facilities such as roving teaching groups were used to promote special education to the public to eliminate the influence of the Communist Party among the masses.As an important part of the Hubei,Henan and Anhui revolutionary bases,Anhui Province was one of the earliest provinces to implement special education.The implementation of special education in Anhui Province once caused great adverse consequences for the Communist Party,but it was undeniable that the social education carried out by the National Government was beneficial to improve the social outlook of rural areas.After the July 7 Incident of 1937",the Anti-Japanese War broke out completely,and most of Anhui Province fell.The Special Education Office re-adjusted the school site of the Zhongshan People s School in each county and divided the patrol areas to smash the conspiracy of the enemy s pseudo-sinization education.And special education turned to mobilizing the people to resist the Japanese,at the same time did not give up the original intention of anti-communist and anti-communist.In the period of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression,special education played an important role in mobilizing the people to resist the Japanese and resolutely resisting the war.In 1944,in line with the implementation of the new county system of the National Government,the Anhui Education Department made major adjustments to special education,and the special education that was implemented for ten years was also incorporated into national education.
