With the development of society, education of special children has drawn more and more attention. In schools of special education, music education is so important that music has become a classical course of special education. But in China, music education of special schools are still faced with a lot of difficulties. This study mainly investigated the situation of special music education in Zhejiang province, aiming to find out the problems and provide some suggestions for the development of music education in special education schools.This paper includes 5 chapters. Chapter 1 is the analysis of theoretical basis of special music education, including some related analysis home and abroad, defining of some concepts and research methods and ideas. Chapter 2 is the whole image of special education in Zhejiang province, mainly concerning general situation, the start and development of special education in Zhejiang. Chapter 3 concludes all the data about the current situation of special education in Zhejiang, including all information about schools, teachers, students and parents. Chapter 4 mainly analyze the existing problems of special education in Zhejiang from the aspects of management, staff, current situation of music lesson and extracurricular activity. Chapter 5 is some suggestions for special music education.With the development of economy, Chinese special education is faced with the best opportunity of development. I wrote this paper just for the purpose of providing some helpful information and workable ideas for researchers and educators so that they can make good education policy to promote our special education.
