In Chinese history,the movement of women studying abroad with real significance started in 1869 and reached its first climax in the early 20th century.During the vigorous development of women's overseas study movement,Jiangsu province has always been the leader in the development of women's overseas study movement due to its open geographical environment and cultural environment,with frequent overseas study activities.The author is discussed in detail in this period,in the policy,the reformation of ideas on women of women under the wind rise,the time background of women's study abroad movement came into being,and on the basis of the collected Jiangsu native women students of literature,in the late Qing dynasty to the Qing dynasty in Jiangsu region woman student profiles to make detailed research,through the study of this group,deeply understanding the historical factors behind its development.In addition,it focuses on the inseparable relationship between the status of overseas students and the social roles played by women,and discusses the individual value and social value endowed by overseas study activities to women,as well as their contribution to the development of modern society.In the late Qing dynasty,the formation of female overseas students in Jiangsu not only reflected the inheritance of history,but also reflected the generation of times.Through overseas study activities,they have realized the transformation of indi-vidual roles of women,gradually stepping out of the family and integrating into the society.Their characteristics as social people are more obvious.They were not only the products of the development of feminist movement under the early male discourse,but also continued to promote the development of female-led feminist movement.As the spiritual symbols of women,they inspired the whole women's world which accounted for half of the population of China at that time.These female students break through the obstacles and challenge the conventions.They talk with The Times and find and develop the spiritual core of The Times.
