A Study Of Rousseau's Political Ethics

In the present China,political ethics is being discussed more and more frequently.Under such circumstances,the resources of western political ethics are of great significance for promoting the development of China's political ethics.Rousseau is a very unique philosopher.He was born into a family of watchmakers.His life has been bumpy and twisted,which has made him a third-level representative.Rousseau's political ethics criticized the feudal monarchy's autocratic system,shaken the theological political ethics supported by the Catholic Church,and provided theoretical support for the French Revolution.In the early days of the development of modern Western thought,many thoughts and theories put forward by Rousseau played a leading and pioneering role.His political ethics advocated the study of society through people.Although Rousseau's political ethics thoughts are hundreds of years apart,their rich ideological connotations are still of great research value and exudes vitality.Rousseau's political ethics is composed of four parts: first,the natural state thought that represents the foundation of his political ethics,followed by the people's sovereignty theory that represents his political subject theory,and once again represents his political system ethics.The theory of state and government is finally the idea of freedom and equality that represents the value appeal of his political ethics.Rousseau's thought of the state of nature criticized the various phenomena of misery in society by borrowing the mouth of natural persons,and provided a good standard for society,law,and institution.Rousseau's people's sovereignty and political system ethics clearly define the respective rights and responsibilities of the state,government,sovereigns and citizens;modern people have a strong self-awareness,which has produced complex relationships between individuals and society.The problem,Rousseau's thought also provides a way of thinking to solve this problem.Freedom and equality can be said to be the eternal value pursuit of mankind.Rousseau provides strong theoretical support for the realization of freedom and equality.In the field of western political ethics,the attention of individual rights is getting higher and higher,the classical political ethics of duty-based is broken,and the modern western political ethics based on individual rights is established.The contractual thinking put forward by Rousseau laid the foundation of ethical thought for the development of individual rights.Objectively speaking,as a member of the petty bourgeoisie,Rousseau's limitations of this class make his political ethics have a largely idealistic component.The blueprint he constructs is only an unrealistic fantasy.Even in this case,Rousseau's political ethics is the most shining star in the sky of history.
