When students are learning English,they often lack interest and feel boring and boring.This is closely related to teachers' traditional teaching concepts and teaching methods.How to stimulate students' desire to learn and explore independently? This requires teachers to transform traditional educational concepts in teaching,implement the subjective status of students,pay attention to students' personal participation in practice,introduce situations into the classroom,and create a relaxed and harmonious classroom teaching environment so that students' potential can be fully explored.The interest in learning English is getting stronger and stronger.This paper specifically studies the application of situational teaching method in rural primary school English teaching.The research content mainly includes five parts.The first part is the introduction,which points out the basis and significance of the topic,the research ideas and methods,and expounds the related research at home and abroad.The second part mainly summarizes some problems of situational teaching method in primary school English teaching,such as the concept definition of situational teaching method and primary school English situational teaching,the theoretical basis of English situational teaching and the principle of rational creation of English situation.The third part conducts a questionnaire survey and teacher interviews on the current situation of rural primary school English classroom situation teaching.From the teacher's understanding of situational teaching,situational material,situational implementation,teaching evaluation,teaching effect,and students' attitudes and feelings about situational teaching,classroom participation and learning effects,etc.,real and specific collection of relevant data and data To provide a detailed factual basis for this study.The fourth part is to find out the problems existing in the situation of the situational teaching method in rural primary school English teaching,and analyze the causes of the problems.The fifth part puts forward practical suggestions based on the status quo and reason analysis of the situational teaching method in primary school English teaching.It is hoped that the research combined with teaching practice will better promote the implementation of situational teaching method in rural primary school English classrooms,help primary school English teachers to transform traditional teaching concepts,create effective situations that meet the teaching content and make students easy to accept,and promote students.Comprehensive development and lifelong development.
