The Research On The Hand-holding Monosyllabic Verbs Of Yi Jian Zhi

Yi Jian Zhi is the longest literary sketches in Song Dynasty weird novels.It has abundant common words,so it is a significant linguistic data to research modern Chinese.Hand-holding is the frequently-used motion,and the verbs of hand-holding have abundant orality expression.It is an important part of common words,which are important to research vocabulary.It is a worthy thing in the aspect of modern Chinese vocabulary to using the core meaning theory in verbs study.The thesis' s object of study is empty-handed monosyllabic verbs with the meaning of hand-holding in Yi Jian Zhi.Extracting the core meaning is the basic of the research.These verbs are categorized according to the primary core meaning and differentiated according to the secondary core meaning.Then the motion is depicted by the core meaning,and it is necessary to analyze the sentence of Yi Jian Zhi.Finally,the thesis shows the core meaning of every verb with a table.The paper has legible method and logic,and it increase the study on modern Chinese.The paper includes five parts.The first part is introduction.It introduces the worth of the thesis,explains respectively research status of Yi Jian Zhi,the hand-holding verbs and the core meaning.Then it introduces the method of research and the selected standard of verbs.It also enumerates verbs and uses an example to explain the method of classification.The second,third and fourth parts describe and classify by the primary core meaning to the 42 verbs.This divides into three chapters of the hand-holding way,the hand-holding status and the hand-holding shape.Every chapter divides into different subclasses.The second part is the hand-holding way and includes 19 verbs,which divide into three subclasses of Hands,Many and Height.The third part is the hand-holding status and includes 16 verbs,which divide into five subclasses of Tight,Divided,Turn,Upright and Curving.The fourth part is the hand-holding shape and includes 7 verbs,which divide into two subclasses of long and small.In analyzing every verb,the paper extracts the core meaning,describes the motion and depicts the sentence in context.The way of extracting the core meaning includes phonetic element,font and the dictionaries of homology words.The fifth part is conclusion.It summarizes the behavioural feature of hand-holding monosyllabic verbs in Yi Jian Zhi and shows the core meaning with a table.The table accomplishes compare by illustrating similarities and differences between these verbs.
