Social adversity is a "chronic" social negative event,and perceived chronic social adversity refers to the perception of negative social events such as social exclusion and alienation,excessive control and failure of social competition.Individuals exposed to such social stresses for a long time may developed poor coping styles and produced adverse psychological and behavioral responses.When a long-term,unsolved stress caused an individual's responsed to depression and anxiety,a negative explanation of the vague information in the situation and an overly concern for threatening information.785 college students in 3universities in Harbin as subjects(386 boys and 399 girls),the perceived chronic social adversity scale(PCSAS),the tendency to except rejection scale(TERS),the university of california at los angels(UCLA)and the social avoidance and distress scale(SAD)were used to explore the gender,grade and other population of college students' perceived chronic social adversity.Differences in demographic variables,as well as the impact of perceived chronic social adversity on social avoidance and distress,and the chain mediated effect of rejection sensitivity and loneliness.Results:(1)There were significant gender differences in college students' PCSAS,UCLA,SAD.(2)There were significant family in college students' TERS,SAD.(3)PCSAS,TERS,UCLA,SAD existed significant positive correlation;(4)PCSAS had a significantly indirect effect on SAD;TERS mediated the relationship between PCSAS and SAD,while UCLA mediated the relationship between PCSAS and SAD.(5)The chain mediated effect of TERS and UCLA in the relationship between PCSAS and SAD.
