Teacher professional development is the focus of educators and scholars,and the core of teacher professional development is the improvement of teacher professional quality.Through literature review,it is found that there are many researches on the professional qualities of teachers in China,but few researches on the description of the professional qualities of minority English teachers in the underdeveloped northwest.Based on this,this study through interview and questionnaire to a predominantly in the form of the present situation of high school English teacher's special field accomplishment were investigated,based on the need of high quality English teaching,combining with the connotation and constituent elements of "professionalism",defined by the high school English teacher's special field accomplishment professional knowledge,professional ability,professional cordiality and self-development consciousness constitute a comprehensive entity;This research also combines a large number of domestic and foreign literature to make a more in-depth analysis of the framework content,in order to provide teachers and teachers educators with a common discourse system,so that they can better regulate and improve teaching practice.The paper is divided into five parts:The first part is the introduction chapter.This paper mainly introduces the research background and significance of this topic,summarizes the relevant literature research,synthesizes the previous studies to learn from its excellent experience,provides the basic ideas and methods for the development of this research,and interprets the connotation of professional literacy,teacher professional literacy and high school English teacher professional literacy.The second part explains the theoretical basis of professional quality development and the components of professional quality of high school English teachers.From the four dimensions of professional knowledge,professional skills,professional affection and professional self-development awareness,this paper discusses the components and mutual relations of high school English teachers' professional qualities.The third part is the current situation and analysis of the reasons chapter.Itmainly clarifies the relevant current situation in the form of data and icons.This paper introduces the survey results of the current situation of kashgar senior high school English teachers' professional literacy,analyzes and sorts out the obtained data,and analyzes the problems existing in kashgar senior high school English teachers' professional literacy and the reasons affecting the development of kashgar senior high school teachers' professional literacy.The fourth part puts forward the countermeasures to promote the professional quality of kashgar senior high school English teachers,which is the focus of this paper,but also the innovation and difficulty of this paper.In the process of writing,based on the realistic characteristics and regional ethnic characteristics of kashgar,this paper tries to analyze the effective countermeasures and Suggestions for improving the professional qualities of kashgar high school English teachers objectively,truthfully and in line with local conditions,so as to avoid empty preaching and being divorced from reality.In general,this paper proposes strategies to promote the professional development of senior high school English teachers in kashgar city from two aspects:the individual optimization of teachers,and the improvement of the system of professional development.The fifth part is the conclusion.This paper mainly analyzes the implications of the research,points out the shortcomings and prospects of the research.
