The reading course for Chinese as a foreign language has always played an important role in the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language.Intermediate reading courses are an important source of Chinese language knowledge for students at the intermediate level.They are also important classes to help students improve their reading skills.This thesis is based on the theory of schema theory.On this basis,the teaching design of the intermediate Chinese reading course is carried out,so that students can more effectively acquire and improve the reading ability in the reading class,and lay a good foundation for the improvement of the Chinese comprehensive quality basis.This paper is divided into four parts: Firstly,it analyzes the schema theory and related literatures,introduces the origin,development and application of schema theory,and introduces the research status of foreign language reading teaching and the application of schema theory to Chinese reading.The relevant situation of the class.This part points out that schema theory is widely used in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.It is also closely related to the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language.This provides a theoretical basis for the application of schema theory to intermediate Chinese reading.Secondly,it analyzes the feasibility of schema theory applied to the teaching of intermediate Chinese reading in foreign languages,and believes that it can effectively guide intermediate reading teaching and has great advantages.Thirdly,the teaching elements including teaching materials,teaching objectives,teaching objects,teaching strategies and teaching methods were analyzed.Three texts of the intermediate Chinese reading course were selected,and the specific and targeted case design was guided by the schema theory.Finally,the case design is evaluated after the teaching practice,and the teaching suggestions for the intermediate Chinese reading class are proposed.
