Research On The Development Status Of Micro-documentary In China Under The New Media Era

The development of digital technology and Internet information technology has promoted the innovation of media technology,and the modern media ecology that has changed greatly has entered the era of “new media”.Under the circumstances,the original "Qu Gao and Widow" documentary ushered in new development opportunities and challenges,and gradually formed a new cultural form in the process of exploring adaptation to new media communication-"micro-documentary."Although the academic industry has been rich in research on documentaries both in theory and in practice,the research on micro-documentaries is not comprehensive enough.In theory,there is no consensus on the definition of the concept of “micro-documentary” itself.In practice,the media environment has changed tremendously in the past decade,and the relationship between traditional media and new media has also changed.From competing with each other,to win-win cooperation,to interaction and integration,Micro-documentaries have developed in this and will continue to grow.Although it has similarities with the traditional documentary in its essential attributes,it has different characteristics from the traditional documentary in terms of content,creation and communication.In the writing of this article,I will comprehensively use the research methods of literature analysis,case analysis and investigation and interview,based on the definition of “new media” and “micro-documentary”,from the perspective of topic selection,content type,narrative structure and aesthetic characteristics.On the other hand,in-depth and in-depth discussion of the new features of the Chinese micro-documentary in the new media era;from the micro-documentary creation entry threshold,the use of audio-visual language and the micro-documentary creation subject,the new features of the micro-documentary industry,Try to explains the status quo of micro-documentary creation;discusses the spread of micro-documentary from three aspects: the change of communication channels brought by the development of new media technology,the change of audience characteristics and the change of communication effect.While the new development of new things brings new opportunities,it will inevitably bring new problems and dilemmas.Through the research in this paper,the author hopes to more specifically and systematically sort out the development status of China's micro-documentary in the new media era,and draw a general theoretical result,which provides a relatively comprehensive theoretical reference for later researchers,and also expects to draw A point of view that is instructive in practice provides a scientific reference for the subsequent micro-documentary creators.
