A Practice Report On Simulation Of The C-E CI Of The Regional Development Plan In Sanya Tourism(An Excerpt)

This is a practice report on simulated interpretation,which focuses on consecutive interpretation of the Regional Development Plan in Sanya Tourism(An Excerpt).The simulated interpretation is mainly based on the national policy of building an international tourism island,colligating the existing tourism resources in Sanya and making a reasonable tourism plan.The corpus is rich in content,tourism terms and covers a wide range.According to Gile's Effort Model of Consecutive Interpreting,many scholars have some related researches.Nevertheless,the author makes an in-depth study of the results of simulated interpretation.In her analysis of interpretation results,she found that there are some problems in interpreting activities,such as inappropriate pause and information-loss.She analyzes the causes of the problems from the simulated interpretation,such as inappropriate attention allocation and tardiness in taking notes.According to these reasons,the author puts forward some strategies to solve the problems,such as using Gile's Effort Model of Consecutive Interpreting to guide scientific mental distribution in interpreting activities.Interpreters need to conduct systematic note-taking training to simplify note-taking symbols.Finally,the author points out the importance of energy distribution and simplifying note-taking symbols and establishing a complete system of note-taking symbols in interpreting activities.This report has a positive effect on the external publicity of Sanya.It can provide a reference for the future study of the same type.
