Descartes is known as the father of modern philosophy, and the issue of free will is a profound issue that has been widely concerned and discussed since ancient times. The reason why I choose Descartes' free will is not only because of the unique position of Descartes, but also because of the controversy in the philosophical system of Descartes. Many philosophers are not optimistic about Descartes' free will thought,so this important issue is often overlooked. But in fact, the idea of ??free will is an important part of the Cartesian doctrine. In the text,I reflect the importance of Free Will thought in the Cartesian doctrine by combing the process of Descartes' solution to the wrong problem in the fourth meditation.Descartes' fourth meditation is not a dispensable chapter, but rather has its internal logic.Descartes' purpose is very clear,in order to resolve the conflict between the error and the perfection of God,thus guaranteeing the existence of God,thereby guaranteeing the rules and certainty of truth, and finally the building of knowledge can be established.By combing the problem of Descartes' free will,we can discover the uniqueness of the concept of Descartes. His free will is not based on the consideration of moral responsibility, but to solve the problem of error. It can be said that he discusses freedom at the level of epistemology.Will.According to the reasons for making mistakes,we can get a way to avoid making mistakes, which has practical significance.
