The Creative Practice And Research Of The Micro Film "Enlightenment Of Dreams"

As the seventh art,film spans a history of more than 100 years.During this 100-plus-year of development,the mode of shooting,thinking pattern,acting skills,editing techniques and other aspects of the film have undergone qualitative changes.At the same time,along with the progress of films,the audience's psychology when watching films is also being subtly influenced.The present films hold very different making concepts compared with The Arrival of a Train by the Lumi�re Brothers shot in 1895.Nowadays,movies focus more on the interpretation of life,the analysis of human nature,and the exploration of history.The combinations of simple stories and various artistic techniques enable the nature of life been shown in an inventive form.In the current society where short video prevails,short-time and creative micro films are gradually approaching the hearts of the audience.Since most of audiences dedicate in work in the daily time,remarkable short videos and micro films can better fill the audiences' more and more fragmented breaks.In addition,short videos also influence people's lifestyles,which requires short videos must carry positive values.Therefore,the ultimate goal of graduate students majoring in the film is to shoot a micro film with novel ideas and distinct themes as well as widely accepted by audiences.Based on the tutor's guidance,after the in-depth study of macro film,the author created the micro film The Enlightenment of Dreams with the help of direction in script writing,shooting methods,recording,acting,art and editing from my respected tutor.As an inspirational type of feature film with urban sci-fi fiction elements,The Enlightenment of Dreams lasts for 26 minutes.The film mainly tells the story of a man who is very ambitious but neglects his family.Suddenly,one day he mistakenly thinks he has superpower by finding reappearances of his dreams in real life on more than one occasion,which makes him throw himself more to the work and aggravates his neglect to his wife.The theme of this film is to discuss about the target and meaning of working hard.The author's purpose is to convey the significance of the family to the vast number of audiences through this film: People should be alert not to be slaves of money but should pay more attention to families surrounded them.The happiness of the individual family can propel the happiness of the whole society.This thesis will comprehensively and systematically expound the creative process from the scriptwriting,directing,arts,shooting,recording,acting,editing,distribution and other aspects in 5 parts.The first part is the introduction,which mainly illustrates the background of creation,creating ideas and director's interpretation of the micro film The Enlightenment of Dreams.The second part describes the preparatory work of this micro film,including the main storyline,literary scripts,shooting scripts,the choice of venue and actors,and the formation of the creative team.The third part mainly elaborates the work in the medium term of the shooting,which covers difficulties confronted,solutions and innovations in the shooting process.The fourth chapter mainly narrates the post-production process of micro film,covering editing,dubbing,color correction,special effects,and packaging of the beginning and the ending of the micro film.The fifth part mainly makes a summary of the creation of the film,so as to remind myself of the experiences and lessons I learned in the shooting process for the future work.
