State hope is one's belief of his/her capability to achieve specific targets generated in the near month or at present.Such belief includes the endogenous motivation and the plan for accomplishing the target.Despite researches about hope is gradually enhanced,very few focus on state hope.Therefore,here this study present the initial version of the"State Senior Hope Questionnaire for High School Students",which is based on both theoretical work including literature review,argumentation and construction of theoretical models and practical field tests by 303 high school students.Through the analysis of project,exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis,four dimensions and twenty seven projects were constructed in the finally.Through the test,the questionnaire of state hope in high school students has good reliability and validity.The characteristics of state hope in 666 high school students was analyzed by the questionnaire of state hope.Then,the relationship of social support,emotion regulation strategy and state hope of 666 high school students was investigated by the questionnaire of state hope with the social support scale and the emotion regulation scale.The scientific basis of this research is provided to improve the state hope of high school students and to design the psychology course of high school.Research indicates:(1)The state hope of high school students has four dimensions,included family hope,study hope,peer interaction hope and leisure activities hope.(2)Generally,the state hope of high school student is high in recent,but the state hope of 19.5%high students is lower than the criticality state hope,especially study hope.(3)In the gender,there is no significant difference in the level of state hope.(4)In the grade,there were significant differences in peer interaction hope and leisure activity hope.Specifically,the second grade and the third grade of peer interaction hope and leisure activity hope were significantly lower than that of the first grade.(5)There were significant differences in the only-child.Specifically,the state hope of the only-child is significantly higher than non-only child in study hope,peer interaction hope and leisure activity hope.(6)There were significant differences in home place.Specifically,the urban students are significantly higher than the town students and the rural students.(7)There are significant difference in the experience of class leader and association.(8)There were significant positive correlations between social support,emotion regulation strategy and state hope,but there is no significant correlation between expression suppression and social support.Specifically,there were significant positive correlations among social support,cognitive reappraisal and state hope.Social support can positively predict state hope.(9)Cognitive reappraisal is the intermediary variable of social support and state hope.
