After the founding of the People's Republic of China, along with the changes of the characteristics of the times and the changes of personal circumstances,Lao She entered a state of multiple identities.Accompanied by multiple identities,it is the relevant "performance" that it carries out.Lao She's multiple identity “performance” is related to the requirements of the times and to the choice of the individual, and there is more complexity. It also leads to the different situations of Lao She in the social stage and individual space.Lao She had a large creative turning after the founding of the People's Republic of China. Thus the creation of drama became an important creative direction after the People's Republic of China.Lao She's creative choices and related specific creations are different from the past. This is also the creative influence brought by the “performance” of multiple identities. The first chapter focuses on the multiple identities that Lao She has on the social stage after the founding of the country.Lao She's multiple identities mainly include “civilian” writers and “returnee”,“people's artists” and “advocate of art and literature for the masses”.The formation of these identities' forming is the combination of history, reality and the individual.Multiple identities bring a lot of glory to Lao She,helping build a good self-image in the social stage. At the same time, there is a certain relationship between different identities, which can jointly promote the "performance" of Lao She on the social stage. The "performance" of the social stage regulates and guides Lao She's concept reshaping and literary choice. The second chapter relates to the specific situation of personal space. After the founding of the People's Republic of China,Lao She had multiple identities and he was "active" in the social stage. However,Lao She has “the other side” in his personal space, where his demands and anxiety are presented.Lao She's appeals and anxieties in personal space include the coexistence of freedom and discipline, the dilemma in social transformation, and the helplessness behind glory. This is the pressure and shackle that Lao She faced after the founding of the People's Republic of China. It includes the complexity of the interaction between the individual and the times.Under certain conditions of the times,it is difficult for individual space to agree with the social stage. The third chapter begins with the strategy adopted by Lao She in specific literary practice. The different situations of the social stage and individual space have a dual influence on Lao She's creation. In order to cope with the influence of duality,Lao She chose the creative strategy of combining politics and civilian population combining in his creation. This kind of strategy is reflected in the aspects of space writing, character image formation, and setting up of conflicts.Lao She's creative strategy can reconcile the contradictions of Lao She's "foreground" and "backstage" to a certain extent, and can promote the enhancement of his creative vitality, but it cannot fundamentally change. The fourth chapter has a dialectical manner to Lao She's creative strategy choices. This creative strategy reflects the uniqueness of Lao She,with a certain breakthrough and creation. It takes into account the needs of the times and also opens up the discourse "new space" of drama creation. This brings the achievements of creation to Lao She.However, this strategy will also bring problems in Lao She's creation. The constraints brought about by the environment after the founding of the People's Republic are always difficult to avoid, and the defects in the creation cannot be eliminated.
