Joseph-Maurice Ravel,as one of the composers with the most impressionist music genre in France,is outstanding in his orchestral works for his exquisite and exquisite tone color handling. Some of Ravel's orchestral works were adapted from his own piano works. The illation of the two versions not only reflects the writing characteristics of different musical genres of the composer, but also embodies the composer's orchestration technique and orchestration thinking due to the connection and difference between the two versions. This paper takes Ravel's orchestral version of une barque sur l'océan as the research object, and through comparative analysis with his own piano work of the same name, une barque sur l'océan,sums up and summarizes the composer's orchestration techniques and adaptation techniques when dealing with this piano work into orchestral works. This article is divided into three chapters. The first chapter analyzes the differences and similarities between the two versions in terms of sound layout and sound change techniques, starting with the arrangement of orchestral instruments. The second chapter mainly starts with texture processing, and analyzes how to transform piano texture into orchestra texture according to the acoustic performance characteristics of orchestras. The third chapter focuses on the details of the orchestra's version of acoustics, and analyzes the changes in acoustics brought about by the orchestra's writing style for piano works.
