An Analysis On The Discourse And Text Exercise In Advanced Chinese Course

The overall goal of teaching Chinese as a foreign language is to cultivate students' communicative competence in Chinese,including the ability to form sentences,paragraphs and articles.Among them,the continuous sentence into sections and consecutive paragraphs are the requirements of the intermediate and advanced Chinese stage.How to cultivate students' ability to express in stages,especially the ability of students to study at the advanced stage,is an important topic for the exploration of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.This paper selects the influential advanced Chinese comprehensive course textbook "Advanced Chinese Course"(Revised)as the research object,analyzes and summarizes the characteristics of the textbook practice and discourse exercises,and uses questionnaires and interviews to acquire advice from the users.Provides some advice on the use and preparation of textbooks.This paper defines and classifies discourse and text exercises,and on which it distinguishes between input exercises and output exercises.From the perspective of the overall question type and the amount of questions,the form and function of the practice and text practice,and the control standards of the input and output exercises and exercises,the paper analyzes the three textbooks of the Advanced Course.Design and layout.It is found that the three volumes of textbooks attach great importance to text exercises,output exercises and combinations of bottom-up and top-down.Finally,combined with the opinions and suggestions of the users of the textbooks,this paper believes that the discourse practice settings in the textbooks meet the characteristics and needs of different learning stages,and proposes the questions raised by the textbook users for the use of discourse exercises in the Advanced stages.
