Research On Naming Motivation Of Official Title In Zhou Li

Exploring the naming rationale of words is an important topic in the study of traditional linguistics.Zhou Li is an important documentary of Confucianism,which records 334 officers.This paper conducts a more comprehensive and systematic study of the official titles of Zhou Li on the basis of the relative arguability of the naming arguments of famous and cultural words.The ancients had a certain basis for the naming of officials,and there were rules to follow,which provided us with a basis for seeking evidence.The records of the official in the ancient literature classics provide valuable clues and materials for us to explore the naming rationale of the official title.This paper takes 334 official title words in Zhou Li as the research object systematically sorts the official title words,draws on the theory and method of the senior scholars to explore the rationale,seeks the naming rationale of the official title,and grasps the naming rationale type as a whole,finally combined with the cognitive thinking of the ancients,summed up the naming rules and characteristics,so that people have a systematic understanding of the ancient official title.The paper is divided into five parts:The first part is introduction.This paper briefly expounds the research purpose of the thesis,clarifies the research tasks and methods,clarifies the research value and significance,and summarizes the actuality of ancient and modern Chinese and foreign research of theoretical basis and the research status of the official title.The second part,expounding the meaning of the official title term in Zhou Li,classifies the official title as the division criterion,and determines the object of the research.The third part explores and analyzes the naming rationale of the official title of Zhou Li.Determine the method of naming the rationale,use the word meaning analysis method,side-by-side literature and reference to the predecessors' annotations,systematically analyze 334 job title terms,and explore the naming rationale of the job title.The fourth part summarizes the types of naming arguments of the official titles of Zhou Li,the rules of naming and their characteristics.Through the study of its naming rationale,it is found that the main methods of naming the ancients are single-type and comprehensive naming.Among them,the comprehensive naming accounts for a large proportion,which is mainly characterized by the intersection of the ministry and the official genus.The single-type naming is mainly characterized by the selection of the ministry,the characteristics of the officers,or the genus of the official.Finally,using the theory of cognitive linguistics to analyze the main characteristics of the naming of official appellations: using local to understand the whole,intuitive figurative,distinctive,analogous,national cultural.The fifth part,the conclusion.Summarize the research content and results of the paper,and face up to the shortcomings of the paper.
