Reading is the most basic of human cognitive ability.It consists of a series of complex cognitive skills.In past domestic and international studies,the factors that affect reading have been the focus of research scholars.In recent decades,articles on reading and words have emerged from a linguistic point of view and have achieved fruitful results.However,in recent years,more and more research has been done on the impact of reading from the perspective of psychology.At the same time,more and more studies on reading have emerged with a focus on visual processing,but the factors influencing reading are not only visual In terms of influence,non-visual factors also play a potential role.The non-visual factors mainly include the reading style,the physical properties of reading materials,and the degree of education of the readers.In many previous studies,it has been shown that color can cause people to react differently physiologically and psychologically;in the study of Chinese characters,the influence on the reading is verified from the aspects of the font size and the number of strokes.In the past,these studies were all based on the physical properties of reading materials,including font size,number of strokes,font color,font style,and so on.In this study,the influence of font color and grapheme on Chinese reading comprehension was mainly investigated.This study starts with the colors and fonts and selects two factors that have not been examined.One is the font color and the other is the font font.Selecting junior high school students as subjects,using red,green,blue,and black four different color fonts as reading materials,to perform paper-pencil tests for reading comprehension;the other groups use imitation Song-font,Song-font,Kai-font,and Black-font four different types of fonts are used as reading materials to perform paper-pencil tests for reading comprehension.Finally,the statistical test results were statistically analyzed using SPSS software.One-way analysis of variance was performed on the results,and further multiple comparisons between the two were performed.The experimental results prove that the change of the font color and the grapheme has an effect on the Chinese reading comprehension results of junior high school students.The effect of different font colors on Chinese reading comprehension of junior high school students is very significant,among the font colors,there are obvious differences between green and other colors.And the effect of different font grapheme on Chinese reading comprehension of junior high school students is significant.There are only differences between the Kai-font and the Song-font,between the imitation Song-font and the Song-font.The difference between the two or two in the font grapheme is not very significant.
