The Application Of Chinese Documentary Films In Teaching Chinese As A Foreign Language

At present,all countries are established in strengthening their international images,and constantly striving to spread their own culture.As a kind of non-fictional art carrier and expressive form,Chinese documentary works are important medium and platform to spread Chinese culture.These works have positive significance on cultural exhibition,publicity and communication,and contribute to shaping the national image as well.Teaching Chinese as a foreign language is not only a process of language acquisition,but a process of learning and spreading culture.It is a relatively long process to understand and learn culture.As a foreign language,the Chinese course has become the main approach for Chinese learners to comprehend and learn Chinese culture.The development of modern technology gives birth to the multimedia technology,which enables Chinese teachers to introduce and display culture for students.When teaching culture,teachers can use multimedia to play sound and video resources instead of traditional single texts and pictures,which provide a more vivid,visual,intuitive and attractive learning method for Chinese learners.This paper sets about types and characteristics of Chinese documentaries,and analyzes the feasibility of using documentaries in teaching Chinese as a foreign language and selects appropriate documentary works to teach Chinese as a foreign language.According to students' language proficiency and the actual teaching situation,this paper designs a course for teaching Chinese as a foreign language with documentary films to assist Chinese tea culture teaching in order to effectively spread Chinese culture in Chinese as a foreign language class.
