Take "Three Browning Songs" As An Example To Analyze The Singing Style Of British And American Art Songs

Art song is one of the most indispensable art forms in vocal music.At present,most colleges and universities in China mainly teach German,French and Italian art songs,but they know little about British and American art songs,even no one has ever appreciated them.After my investigation,I found that British and American art songs have a complex evolution history,from being influenced by Europe and imitating from it,to national awakening and starting to explore their own national culture,and finally to form their own style characteristics and carry forward,completing a long road of self-improvement.Three Browning songs,as an iconic work of American modern art,plays a pivotal role in the development of British and American art songs.This paper tries to use the most concise and clear language to system analysis of "the three Browning song" creation background,the authors experiences growing up singing style of writing,English,etc.,so that the masses of vocal music elementary learners to American and British art song periods of historical background,typical poet,composer and music characteristics about understanding,make we can step by step to American and British art songs to produce strong interest,quickly seize the work style of music,the music increase their different understanding and ideas.In order to combine theory with practice,I also sang "three Browning songs" in my graduation music meeting,hoping that I could not only have theoretical support,but also add different understanding and ideas to the majority of primary vocal music learners through my singing experience.
