A Study Into The Stage Choreography Of "Bai Zong Jiao",A Folk Dance In Meizhou Island

Folk Dance "Baizongjiao" is much popular with the people in Putian,Xianyou,and especially in Meizhou Island.In order to make more people understand this ancient folk dance,and provide the valuable reference to the choreography of the folk dance,Baizonhjiao,this thesis deals with its source,development,pattern of manifestation,morphological feature,rhyme and footwork,which are employed in the stage choreography of the men collective dance,"Across Fire",manifesting the determination and the struggle of the people in these areas.
