The Anti-expectation Study Of "Spatial Adjective+le"

In the process of human's cognitive world,space is one of the most basic objects,and expectation is an abstract world which is related to human's cognition and concept.Spatial quantities,such as length,width,height,thickness,depth,size,distance and so on,often deviate from expectations.One of the basic functions of the structure of "spatial Adjective + le" in Chinese is to convey this kind of unexpected information.The research on the anti-anticipation function of the structure of "spatial Adjective + le" in Chinese has certain significance in deepening people's understanding of "spatial adjective" and expanding the research scope of "anti-anticipation" in Chinese.The introduction part of this paper briefly introduces the research status of "spatial Adjective + le" structure.This paper summarizes two main directions of current research on anti-anticipation:information transmission of anti-anticipation and mark of anti-anticipation.On this basis,it further points out the misunderstandings and linguistic points that need to be further studied from the perspective of "anticipation".From this we can see that previous studies did not include "spatial Adjective + le" as a whole structure in the anti-expectation research category,which is also one of the value of this study.The first chapter discusses the anticipatory function of "spatial Adjective + le".Firstly,from the perspective of cognitive and semantic features,this paper makes an analysis of "spatial adjectives".Secondly,the combination of "spatial adjective" and dynamic quantity marker "le" is used to analyze the formation of the anticipatory function of "spatial Adjective + le" combined with the theory of related "quantity" category.Chapter 2 discusses the effect of Vp on the anticipatory function of "spatial Adjective + le" when it is used as a complement of Vp.Firstly,combining Mr.Lu Jianming's research on the grammatical meaning of "Vp + Adjective + le",this paperanalyses the different restrictive effects of the action expressed by Vp on the spatial nature of the things related to it.Then,according to the different constraints,it summarizes the theoretical basis for the realization of Vp + "spatial Adjective + le" expression results and the functional distinction between anti-expectation and anti-expectation.Chapter three discusses the expression of the counter-anticipated quantity of "spatial Adjective + le".According to the different quantitative components of "anticipation",this chapter first analyses the combination of "spatial Adjective + le" and "quantitative phrase".Then,the combination of "spatial Adjective + le" and other quantitative components except "quantitative phrase" is analyzed.Then,the functional differences between the spatial Adjective + Le + quantitative phrase and its similar structures are summarized.Finally,taking "somewhat" and "too" as examples,the expression of "degree adverb" on the degree of counter-expectation of "spatial Adjective + le" structure is analyzed.Chapter Four summarizes the anti-expectation study of "spatial Adjective + le" in this paper,and points out the problems and shortcomings in the research process.
