In recent years,network communication technology has developed rapidly under the wave of China's economic and technological development.China has experienced a follow-up development in the network communication industry from 1G in nothing,2G follow-up,3G breakthrough,and 4G leading.At present,the popularity of 4G networks has changed people's living conditions and lifestyles to a large extent,such as online shopping.With the increasing living standards of people,the requirements for communication networks are getting higher and higher.In order to meet people's needs,the world's major technology companies and national network operators are also actively developing faster and larger capacity.This paper takes the English-Chinese translation practice of the European Annual Report/2018 as an example to study the translation of technical texts,especially highlighting the use of the theory of code-mixing in the translation of technical texts.This paper is divided into five parts.The first part gives a brief introduction to this translation project;The second part analyzes the characteristics of translation materials;The third part focuses on the theory of Code-Mixing;The fourth part analyzes the English-Chinese translation with code-mixing theory;the last part is the summary part,which mainly explains the inadequacies of the author in the translation process and the aspects that need improvement.The main purpose of this paper is to make readers understand the application of code-mixing used in science and technology texts,also to provide reference to people who want know some relative knowledge about 5G by the translation of The European 5G annual Journal/2018.So it may help to popularize the 5G to people in our country.
