Guo Yu Ding Ben,written by Qin Ding in the late Edo Era of Japan,affected by Guo Yu Lue Shuo written by Guanxiuling and Zeng Zhu Guo Yu written by Zhongtian Hu during the same period and inherited by Biao Zhu Guo Yu Ding Ben written by Gaomu Xiongsanlang in Early Meiji,is originated from the Zhang Yikun version during Wanli reign of Ming Dynasty,and collated with the Huang Pilie reprint Mingdao version during Jiaqing reign of Qing Dynasty.To be great as Guo Yu Zhengyi written by Dong Zengling of Jiaqing reign,Guo Yu Ding Ben occupies a key position in the entire academic history of Guo Yu.Now,domestic scholars Yu Zhihui and Guo Wanqing,and Japanese research scholar Xiaofang Banzi have done some research on this work,however,there is still a lack of systematic research in literature science of it.This paper makes a comprehensive and systematic study of Guo Yu Ding Ben written by Qin Ding in literature science from the perspectives including version combing,collation,exegesis,criticism and so on,to explore its academic value.The conclusion is as below:As a Japanese eclectic scholar,Qin Ding had a broad vision and did scholarly research with accuracy.He led his group to make a study of Guo Yu for six years,and finished Guo Yu Ding Ben,which made momentous achievement in collation(with three features: progressiveness,strictness,inheritance),and unique achievement in non-collation annotation(with four features: complementarity,rigorousness,inclusiveness,simplicity).In the entire academic history of Guo Yu,Guo Yu Ding Ben,its status as the master of Guo Yu research in Edo Era of Japan is not rocking,and it has an important complementary value to Guo Yu Zhengyi.
