Taking the image of "spectator" in the text of Lu Xun and Mo Yan's novels as the research object,through the detailed reading and comparative study of the texts of the two novels,as well as the combing of the development of modern and contemporary literature and literary trend of thought,on the basis.The preface part of the article mainly defines the concept and scope of the research object,analyzes the relationship between Lu Xun,Mo Yan and the "Spectator",on the basis of integrating the relevant research of the predecessors,and draws the starting point and innovation of this paper,so as to form the basic research ideas.The main body is divided into three parts,the first part through a comprehensive analysis of Lu Xun,Mo Yan works involving the image of "spectator" related text,the two pens "spectator" image of the relationship reflected in the numb people and the survival of the people of the difference between the conclusion,focusing on revealing differences.Mainly from the mirror range,focus center of gravity and "spectator" face of three aspects of the discussion,analysis from Lu Xun to Mo Yan on the "spectator" this literary image of the change: the transformation of the range of the mirror to expand,focus on the dispersion of the shift and the "spectator" face of the rich multi-element.The second part then analyzes the reasons for the differences and changes mentioned above,mainly the interaction between personal experience and the discourse of the Times,that is,the social origin of writers,self-orientation and the creation of the era of the combined role of the results.Lu Xun's origin,cultural status and personal experience eventually led him to criticize the numbness and apathy of the "spectator" with the selforientation of the intellectual elite,while Mo Yan's life,family situation and the growing environment of the revolutionary era finally made him intervene in the text from the perspective of ordinary people,showing the inner richness and emotional colorful of the "spectator".But there is still something in common behind the difference,and the image of the "spectator" in the two pens is not purely objective,but the product of imagination,which is the result of the coupling of the individual spirit of the writer and the theme of the Times,and is the fusion of subjectivity and objectivity.The third part is on the basis of part first to second,from the perspective of external examination and internal observation,to further analyze the complementary coexistence behind the difference.The contrast between the numb people and the living people,in fact,is the implicit author standing in different places of different discoveries,respectively,as the external examination of the knowledge elite and as the result of the internal observation of ordinary people,from the context of local literature,the development of the spirit of realism and beyond the internal motivation of the predecessors,the two complementary coexistence,together constitute The overall appearance of the image of "spectator".Therefore,the relationship between Lu Xun and Mo Yan's image of "spectator" is not so much a succession of transcendence or rebellious fracture as a different complementarity.
