The Effect Of Mother's Childhood Abuse Experience And Abuse Cognition On Parenting Styles

The role of mothers is very prominent in the growth of children.The way it is used in raising children will have a direct impact on the personality and development direction of children in the future.When a mother is abused in child's childhood,the child often lacks a sense of security and trust,even has a very strange personality.It will not only affect their emotions,but also create many psychological problems.At this point,if the children are educated,the mothers' behavior will have an impact on children even bring negative impact.Combined with the research,it is found that abuse will reflect the characteristics of intergenerational transmission.This will also have a great impact on the work and life of children in the future.Therefore,it has become a key issue to carry out research on the ways of rearing young children,the abuse of childhood mothers,and the cognition of abuse.There are few studies which relative with this kind of aspect at home and abroad,especially the relationship between parenting style and maltreatment cognition.At present,the content of the study of maltreatment cognition is too trivial to carry out systematic research.This research work that hops to enable parents and educators to have a higher level of abuse awareness in order to carried out in-depth research work.Abuse cognition can play an intermediary role in terms of parenting style and childhood abuse.Through this study,if a number of positive measures are adopted to reduce the incidence of abuse,it will can affect the way of education and facilitate the healthy growth of young children more positively and positively.A total of 570 questionnaires were issued and 541 questionnaires were effectively recovered.Through analysis,it was found that:(1)From the perspective of abuse experience,there are significant differences between high and low age groups.(2)From the perspective of parenting style,and the experience of abuse cognition,the low and high monthly income groups have different levels of abuse cognition.(3)From the perspective of parenting style,abuse cognition and abuse experience,there are obvious differences between urban and rural areas.Through the difference test,it is found that the level of abuse cognition in rural areas is relatively high.(4)From the perspectives of abuse cognition and experience,mother's preference and mother's warmth,the negative correlation between the two factors are more significant,while the positive correlation between the former and mother's denial and interference are more significant.(5)It shows that both cognition and experience of abuse can effectively predict the parenting style adopted by mothers after abuse.(6)In terms of mother's parenting styles and abuse experience,abuse cognition is a medicating effect that will play an intermediary role.
