With the rise of cognitive psychology in recent years, most researchers have gradually shifted the focus of sexual crime psychology research to the level of cognitive processing. The attention process is the initial stage of cognitive processing.A thorough exploration of the attention process of sexual crime practitioners is of great significance for revealing and preventing the occurrence of sexual crime behaviors. The purpose of this study is to study the attentional bias characteristics of sexualcrimes towards negative emotional information and female-related information, and to explore the differences between them and non-sexualcrimes in attentional bias through psychological behavior experiments,so as to reveal the influence of emotional information and crime-related information on the attentional bias of sexualcrimes. Two studies(three experiments)have been designed: study 1(experiment 1)adopts a twofactor mixed experimental design of 2(crime type: sexual crime,non-sexual crime)× 3(emotion type: positive emotion, neutral emotion, negative emotion),and explores whether sexual crime has attentional bias to negative emotion information through emotion Stroop paradigm;Research 2(experiment 2)adopts a two-factor mixed experimental design of 2(crime type: sexual crime,non-sexual crime)×2(word type: female related words, neutral words),and explores whether sexual crime subjects pay attention to female related information through the point detection paradigm.(Experiment 3)Using a three-factor mixed experimental design of 2(crime type: sexual crime,non-sexual crime)× 2(word type: female-related words, neutral words)× 2(clue: valid and invalid),this paper explores whether sexual crime's attentional bias towards female-related information is to pay attention to vigilance or to relieve difficulties,or both, through clue-target paradigm. The results are as follows:(1)The response time of sexual crime to negative emotional faces is longer than that of neutral and positive emotional faces.(2)The response time of sexual crime to female-related words is shorter than that of neutral words, and there is no significant difference in the response time of non-sexual crime to female-related words and neutral words.(3)Under valid clues, sexual crime's response time to female-related words is shorter than that of neutral words.Under invalid clues, sexual crime's response to female-related words is longer than that of neutral words. The conclusions are as follows: First, sexual crime has attentional bias towards negative emotional, indicating its susceptibility to negative emotions;Secondly, sexual crime has a bias of attention to female-related information, which indicates that it gives priority to processing female-related information. Finally, the attentional bias of sexual crime towards female-related information has both attentional vigilance and difficulty in relieving attention, which indicates that emotional mood and special self-schema are related to the attentional bias of sexual crime.
