In recent years,with the further extension of economic globalization,more and more people pay much attention to the interviews.Famous interviews at home and abroad can transmit all kinds of information and frontier hot spots to every corner of the world via network platforms.The interpreting and study of interviews can not only promote knowledge sharing and information dissemination,but also further enrich interpreting theories and practices.The efforts distribution between memory and note-taking in Consecutive Interpreting(CI)has a great impact on the performance of the interpreter and target text.According to the study of memory,note-taking and the correlation between the two important components of Consecutive Interpreting,combined with this interpreting practice,the interpreter analyzed efforts distribution in CI,studied the balanced relationship between memory and note-taking,explored the problems,reasons and came up with some suggestions to solve these problems based on the Gile's Effort Allocation Mode.This report is composed of three parts.Chapter one is a brief introduction to topic source and significance,task objectives and analysis of simulated audience.Chapter two is process description,which mainly includes preparation before interpreting,process and reflection and quality evaluation.A case study is presented in chapter three.First,the effort allocation modes between memory and note-taking for consecutive interpreting are introduced.Second,the problems and causes of effort allocation in CI are analyzed.Third,the relevant solutions are proposed.A conclusion is made and further research directions are present at last.
