Watercolor painting,developed into an independent painting species in England in the 18 th century,was introduced into China in the Ming and Qing dynasties.Although its spreading time is not very long compared with the long history of Chinese painting,its painting materials-soft brush,pigment composition-gum and water,Highly similar to Chinese painting,it naturally took root in China.With the continuous development of the concept and the persistent efforts of the older generation of Chinese artists,watercolor painting in the domestic art category has been significantly improved.My series of watercolor landscape paintings are based on the scenery of Hulunbeir area and are represented by realistic methods.Mainly about my love of my hometown,through the watercolor art language to express feelings,trying to convey the heart of the beautiful feelings of home.This article attempts to discuss the series of watercolor techniques and emotional transmission: first of all,draw nutrition from Chinese and foreign aesthetic works and famous works to improve the appreciation ability and theoretical level,draw lessons from painting methods,and take innovation as the goal.It explains the process of creation,explores the characteristics and expression methods of different objects,discusses the expression of light and color,and tries and summarizes the experience of some watercolor techniques.Finally,tracing back to the source,feelings in the works present.
